Health is happiness. Seriously.

I saw this on Tumblr today and had to share it. And somehow I am thinking Martin will totally love this statement, right Martin? I’m guessing that when you ride your 200 mile long workouts, if it rains or sleets or snows, you just shrug it off. ;-) I know you do.

Kids. I shot this vlog below on Monday, right after my workout.

Why do I point this out? Because after that workout, which was Cathe’s Bootcamp (see below) I went in and did my call and then was hit with a GARGANTUAN Migraine from hell. It lasted ALL DAY the rest of the day Monday, I was almost immobile, and then woke up the next day somewhat better but it wasn’t gone. I was still nauseated after my morning coffee, and then after doing one call, I had to cancel the rest of my calls and go lie down. It was brutal. I’m not one to have had migraines all of my life but I can say I’ve had maybe 3 and lately I do tend to get mini-migraines around AUNT FLO time but this was BAD. It made me sad. And I feel like I’ve lost 2 days of my life. Oh well. That’s why the title of this post is that health is happiness. Isn’t it?

Let me tell you something. I had major CORE DOMS after this workout. Today’s workout was Cathe Lower Body Blast- although I only had time for 30 minutes of LB work, and I’m going for a run this evening. Yes a run! In my new Nikes! (Pictures to follow!) I did shoot a vlog today but I’ll share that one tomorrow.

Overall, I’m feeling good and excited about 2012. Ready to shrug off the last of the HEALTH DRAMA and move forward! Shoulder is 95% better but I’m being careful. Time to make sure I take my vitamins daily, get my rest, keep boundaries up in my professional life so I have a life!!! And have fun!!! WOOO!!

I will do this in 2012. I will do pull-ups. Period.

On that note, I must run because I have some fun to attend to this evening. ;-) Devilish Grin.

Question of the day: Do you eat a lot of fruit? I’ve been digging apples lately but I seem to eat a lot less fruit in the winter. Curious.

Love the visuals…don't love that you're getting hormonal migraines :( I've been coping with those since I was about 42. Some things have helped …we should talk :)
